Here's What You'll Do for Our Residents:
- Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
- Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
- Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data
- Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.
- Care Planning: Assist in executing the individualized care
- Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
- Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
- Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
- Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
