Job Details: Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Private Duty Nurse Location: La Plata, MD Setting: School Pay Range: $28.50-$36.50 hourly Schedule: 08:00:00 to 15:30:00 Contract Length: 2026-2027 School Year Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly Preferred: 2 years as an LPN with pediatric experience preferred but not required Requirements: Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, willingness to obtain state licensure Responsibilities: Provide individualized nursing care to students within the school setting in accordance with physician orders and care plans. Administer medications, tube feedings, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed treatments. Collaborate with school staff and families to support the student's educational participation and inclusion. Monitor and document student health status and respond to emergencies as needed.
