Our client, a leading manufacturer of power equipment and industrial products , is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II , you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production, Facilities, and Operations teams . The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Sussex, WI
Pay Range: $25.00 to $40.00/hr
What's the Job?- Perform emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, robotic, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
- Maintain facility systems, including lighting, building mechanicals, fixtures, and seasonal outdoor maintenance.
- Order parts, manage work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance records and 5S standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, automation systems, or production equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC troubleshooting and repair.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
