The Pearl At Watkins Centre Dietary Aide OpportunityThe Pearl at Watkins Centre is seeking Dietary Aides to join their team!Shifts Details:Full Time & Part Time availablePurpose:The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handlingMaintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standardsPrepares all special dietary needs as directedAdheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely mannerRequirements:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION:Dietary Aide:Education: High School Diploma/ GED requiredPrevious experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferredSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Dietary Aide:Understanding of infection control proceduresDemonstrate the ability to Multi task and Manage StressCompetent in time management / organizational skillsUnderstands and embraces the assisted living philosophyAbility to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available for our customers at peak service delivery days and timesPossess written and verbal skills for effective communicationDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
