Tier 2 IT Support Engineer MSP

Salary: $65,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• We require previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• We are looking for at least 3 years of professional IT support experience.
• You should have strong Windows workstation troubleshooting skills.
• You should have experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• You should have practical knowledge of Active Directory and/or Entra ID.
• You should understand TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN fundamentals.
• You must be able to troubleshoot unfamiliar technical issues independently.
• You should have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You should present a professional client-facing demeanor.
• You should be able to document troubleshooting steps and technical resolutions clearly.
• You should be able to manage multiple client issues and priorities.
• You must have a valid drivers license.
• You must be able to travel to Columbus-area client locations when hands-on support is needed.

• We troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues, including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• We manage and resolve Entra ID / Azure AD user, authentication, MFA, and access issues.
• We support Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations.
• We troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP problems.
• We support Windows Server environments.
• We diagnose network connectivity, switching, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP issues.
• We troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and site-to-site connectivity.
• We work with endpoint security and cybersecurity platforms.
• We resolve escalated technical support tickets.
• We troubleshoot printers, applications, hardware, and peripherals.
• We perform workstation deployments and new-user setups.
• We keep client and technical documentation accurate and current.
• We communicate directly with clients throughout the troubleshooting process.
• We take part in Microsoft 365, network, server, infrastructure, and cybersecurity projects.
