About the Position

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required License: KY License or compact required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with ICU mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, vasoactive drip management, sedation, chest tubes, Flotrac - Candidates must float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby - Must work 3 out of 5 winter holidays Description: The role involves the management of patients requiring intensive care. Candidates will perform tasks related to mechanical ventilation and sedation management. Experience with arterial lines and vasoactive drips is essential. Candidates should have knowledge of chest tube management and Flotrac usage. All required certifications must be current and valid. Applicants must meet the compliance requirements for ICU competencies. Medical and religious exemptions for vaccines will be considered.
