Product Line Manager

Product Line Manager – Responsibilities Responsible for the product line (product, promotion, pricing, and channel) for a defined portfolio of products to drive sales and margin expansion. Develop and manage the product portfolio strategy including leading the multi-generational product roadmap development process in line with division strategic plans and defining customer requirements/needs and government & regulatory standards. Ownership of the product life cycle management of the product portfolio including conducting complexity and reduction analysis. Participate in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies. Develop product value propositions and be accountable for new product launches. Investigates market needs for innovative products and works with engineering to appropriately prioritize product development efforts for the product line. Support customer segmentation through various means such as conducting market research, monitoring competitors and maintaining product literature, catalogs, technical bulletins, etc. Attend customer visits, sales conferences, trade shows, as required. Qualifications Four (4) year degree, preferably in engineering, engineering technology or a business discipline. MBA desired. Minimum four (4) years’ product management experience. Strong computer skills (Microsoft office applications and Salesforce) Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving and resolution skills with a team focus Travel up to 25% Conditions of Employment This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
