• Overhead crane operations in a dynamic scrap yard—moving, sorting, and staging materials.
• Daily equipment inspection reports; compliance with startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Proactive safety leadership: engage in CMC Safety Programs, wear PPE, and report hazards immediately.
• Clear, timely communication with teammates about production priorities, issues, and equipment needs.
• Hands-on upkeep: perform minor/routine maintenance; assist maintenance personnel when called upon.
• Real-time problem solving—troubleshoot with your knowledge and by collaborating with others.
• Continuous improvement: propose better methods and safer procedures.
• Housekeeping excellence across your immediate area, every shift.
• Execute operations support management directives safely and on time.

• Team-first approach; strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organized execution in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proven dependability in attendance and completing work; flexibility to meet changing demands.
• Quick learner who can multitask effectively.
• Physical readiness: lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort working amid temperature extremes; chemicals; dust, fumes, and mists; uneven surfaces; loud noise; elevated work areas; and confined spaces.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays) and overtime—both planned and in emergency situations.

• High School Diploma or GED required
