Respiratory Therapist - PRN

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support. Responsibilities include setting up, monitoring, and weaning oxygen and artificial ventilation, analyzing arterial blood gases and EKGs, delivering therapies, and assisting with artificial airway management. The role involves documenting clinical information, educating patients and staff, performing diagnostic procedures, and adapting care to meet patient needs and safety standards. Qualifications Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire Skills & Abilities Proficiency in computer use, data entry, and software applications Effective verbal and written communication Strong interpersonal skills Ability to perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations and work in a fast-paced environment Additional duties include ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining safety standards, and providing patient education. Physical demands involve lifting, bending, prolonged standing or sitting, and exposure to biohazards.
