Vice President, Talent
DrinkPAK, LLC
Position Overview Drive your success at DrinkPAK, a fast‑growing beverage manufacturer. The Vice President of Talent owns the end‑to‑end talent lifecycle across all sites: workforce planning, high‑volume and executive recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement and retention. Location The position is based on‑site at DrinkPAK’s facility in FortWorth, Texas, and requires frequent travel between Santa Clara, CA and FortWorth, TX. Employment Type & Benefits Full‑Time, Exempt. Benefits include 100% company‑paid PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents; cell phone stipend; annual discretionary bonus; 401(k) match program; pet insurance; life insurance; and paid time off and company holidays. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Chief People Officer, executive team, and site leadership to translate aggressive growth plans into multi‑year workforce plans across California and Texas operations. Build headcount models, hiring roadmaps, and labor cost forecasts for new line startups and facility launches, including ramp plans supporting approximately 1,000 new full‑time roles in North Texas. Define DrinkPAK’s employer brand and value proposition in competitive manufacturing labor markets. Lead and scale a full‑cycle recruiting function covering high‑volume hourly production hiring, skilled technical trades, quality, supply chain, and salaried/executive roles. Establish metrics‑driven recruiting operations: time‑to‑fill, quality‑of‑hire, funnel conversion, offer acceptance, and cost‑per‑hire. Develop pipelines through community partnerships, technical schools, veteran programs, staffing agency management, and referral programs. Design onboarding that gets new team members safe, productive, and engaged quickly in a fast‑paced GMP manufacturing environment. Build training and upskilling programs for operators and technicians on advanced, highly automated equipment; create leadership development pathways for frontline supervisors and managers. Implement certification and cross‑training frameworks that increase line flexibility and internal mobility. Own performance management, calibration, and compensation planning cycles in partnership with Finance and HR. Build succession plans for critical operational and technical roles across all shifts and sites. Diagnose and reduce turnover through data‑driven engagement, stay‑interview, and recognition programs tailored to a 24/7 shift workforce. Champion DrinkPAK’s culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and “Thirst for More” across a rapidly multiplying employee base. Lead, mentor, and grow the Talent team; manage vendors, agencies, ATS/HRIS tooling, and the talent budget. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design and change management during rapid expansion. Qualifications • 12+ years of progressive talent/HR experience, including 5+ years leading talent acquisition or talent management functions at the Director/VP level. • Proven success scaling workforces in high‑growth manufacturing, CPG, food & beverage, distribution, or industrial environments; multi‑site and high‑volume hourly hiring experience strongly preferred. • Track record building recruiting engines from the ground up – processes, teams, tooling, and metrics. • Deep experience with L&D program design for technical/production workforces, including safety and compliance training. • Strong analytical orientation: comfortable building dashboards and making decisions with data. • Working knowledge of California and Texas employment landscapes; experience supporting bilingual (English/Spanish) workforces a plus. • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or SHRM‑SCP/SPHR certification a plus. • Willingness to work on‑site and travel regularly between Santa Clara, CA and FortWorth, TX facilities. Success in Year One Fully staffed launch teams for new production lines, hired on schedule and within budget; measurable reduction in time‑to‑fill and first‑year turnover across hourly roles; standardized onboarding and technical training program deployed at every site; succession plans in place for all critical operations leadership roles; talent analytics dashboard reviewed monthly with the executive team. Compensation & Benefits Competitive executive base salary plus annual performance bonus. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and company holidays. Our Values Speed – Take the initiative to promptly identify and address potential issues or opportunities. Intensity – Remain resilient in the face of challenges and setbacks by possessing a positive attitude, persevering through obstacles, and demonstrating adaptability in your approach.
