SUMMARY

The Executive Administrator serves as a trusted administrative and project management partner to Redeemer’s Administrative Team. This position exists to strengthen the effectiveness of senior leadership by coordinating executive priorities, managing organizational projects, and ensuring church‑wide initiatives move from vision to execution with excellence. This role is intentionally designed to provide both executive administrative support and strategic project coordination. Rather than functioning as a ministry‑specific assistant, the Executive Administrator serves Redeemer's highest organizational priorities while helping the Administrative Team lead with greater focus, clarity, and effectiveness. The Executive Administrator exists to increase the capacity of Redeemer's Administrative Team so they can devote greater attention to shepherding, leadership, organizational health, and the strategic advancement of Redeemer's mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the Administrative Team's project coordinator for Redeemer's highest organizational priorities, ensuring strategic initiatives move from vision to execution with excellence. This role is intentionally designed with flexibility to support Redeemer's highest organizational priorities as they emerge. Rather than serving as a ministry‑specific administrative assistant, the Executive Administrator functions as a strategic resource for the Administrative Team, coordinating projects that strengthen the overall health, effectiveness, and mission of the church. Project assignments will naturally evolve throughout the year based upon the strategic direction established by the Administrative Team and the changing needs of the organization. Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation strategies. Coordinate cross‑functional ministry teams around strategic initiatives. Track progress, deadlines, and accountability. Facilitate communication between ministries. Prepare executive dashboards and project updates. Identify obstacles and recommend solutions. Coordinate implementation of leadership decisions. Examples of strategic initiatives Vision Night Annual Ministry Planning Church‑wide initiatives Discipleship pathway development Leadership retreats Congregational meetings Multi‑site initiatives Orange County church planting initiatives Major ministry launches Special projects assigned by the Administrative Team Organizational development projects Church‑wide communication initiatives Executive Administration Manage calendars and scheduling for the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor of Ministries, and Executive Director of Operations. Coordinate meetings while protecting leadership priorities. Prepare agendas, reports, meeting materials, and presentations. Draft and manage executive correspondence. Coordinate travel, conferences, retreats, and speaking engagements. Track action items and executive follow‑up. Maintain confidential executive records and documentation. Anticipate needs and proactively support executive leadership. Church‑Wide Ministry Coordination Coordinate administrative logistics for key organizational ministries including: Welcome Lunches Redeemer 101 Membership Process Elder Interview Coordination Mission Trip Logistics Staff Retreats Director Meetings Session Meetings All Staff Gatherings Leadership Events Support communication, registration, scheduling, hospitality, materials, and follow‑up to ensure these ministries are executed with excellence. Executive Team Operations Track Administrative Team priorities. Support annual planning and organizational calendars. Prepare executive reports and research. Coordinate communication across ministries.

REPORTING & COLLABORATION

This position reports to the Executive Administrative Team while serving the Administrative Team. It is intentionally designed as a shared strategic resource for Redeemer rather than a dedicated assistant to any one ministry.

QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS

Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. High emotional intelligence and professionalism. Absolute discretion with confidential information. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to Redeemer's mission, vision, and doctrinal values. Proficiency with Microsoft suite, Google, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and project management tools.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

3–5 years supporting senior leaders, executive teams, or operations. Experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. Experience in a church, nonprofit, or mission‑driven organization preferred. Familiarity with church governance, ministry operations, and volunteer leadership is beneficial.

SUCCESS IN THE ROLE

Administrative Team members have greater capacity for leadership. Church‑wide initiatives are executed with excellence. Projects move forward with clear accountability and follow‑through. Communication is coordinated and proactive. Organizational systems become increasingly clear, efficient, and sustainable. Redeemer experiences greater organizational clarity, alignment, and execution.
