BL&T further provides legal guidance on a variety of banking and fiduciary topics including investment management, general trust administration, specialty trusts, custody, tax, specialty assets, regulatory, privacy, ecommerce, deposit relationship and strategy, and business strategies. The section also provides support to the WIM Diverse Segments group, including WIM referral activity.About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Wealth Custom Lending Specialist in Banking, Lending and Trust in Wealth & Investment Management Working at Wells Fargo | Jobs and Careers at Wells Fargo (wellsfargojobs.com)In this role, you will:Participate in marketing custom lending solutions across the Wells Fargo platformPartner with senior level specialists to deliver Custom Lending solutions to high-net-worth clientsRecommend structure of credit opportunities and assist in negotiating deal terms directly with clientsIn conjunction with senior level specialists, present deals to Independent Risk Management, along with underwriting teams, for final approvalAssist in new custom credit origination and care for more routine/less complex portfolio management (including ongoing financial reporting, out of margin resolution, renewal of maturing credit facilities, etc.)Develop deeper understanding of custom lending to partner with relationship managers.Make recommendations on situations requiring understanding of the Wealth Custom Lending functional area policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with Wealth Custom Lending peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Custom Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Private Banking, Corporate Banking or Commercial Lending experienceExcellent sales and relationship management skillsKnowledge of traditional banking productsCredit risk experienceFINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)Job Expectations:US only: Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 7 and 66 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Registration for FINRA Series 65 or 66 must be completed prior to conducting Investment Advisory business. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.Pay RangeSalary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
