The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in supporting our General Manager to deliver exceptional service and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Position Type: Full-time Core Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise all front-of-house and kitchen staff and support General Manager in hiring, training, and scheduling Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and address performance and behavioral issues according to company policy Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations—opening, closing, and shift-to-shift execution Use store management systems to track inventory, sales, and performance metrics Manage workflow to maintain speed of service and quality standards Ensure compliance with all health, food safety, regulatory, and brand requirements and prepare store for inspections Place and receive inventory orders in coordination with the General Manager Monitor and solve operational problems in real-time Financial Management: Manage labor costs against sales and conduct inventory counts and address variances on cost of goods sold Maintain adherence to cash control procedures, reconcile daily cash drawers and deposits, and ensure secure credit card processing Sales & Guest Experience: Encourage team members to delight guests with efficient and personable service that goes above and beyond, while modeling this approach in your own customer interactions Handle guest concerns and questions Basic Qualifications At least 18 years of age Reliable transportation High school diploma or GED Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience in a fast-food environment Food safety knowledge and commitment to health and sanitation standards Skills & Competencies Required Customer service mindset and genuine care for guest experience Strong team development with capability to train and coach staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong operational execution and attention to detail Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, basic math skills, and basic computer skills Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment Positive attitude and strong work ethic Physical & Work Demands The position requires 50+ hours per week including mornings/evenings, weekends, and holidays. It requires standing, walking, and moving for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be prepared to jump into operational work (food prep, other crew duties) when needed.
