Paid Audiology Externship Opportunities | 2027-2028 Clinical Year

Alexandria Hearing Centers is seeking two Doctor of Audiology students for our 2027–2028 fourth-year clinical externship program in Alexandria, Virginia.We welcome motivated audiology students who are looking for a comprehensive, challenging, and rewarding fourth-year externship experience. This is a paid, one-year externship with a $35,000 salary , offering comprehensive, hands-on clinical experience in a busy private practice/ENT setting. Clinical Experience Includes: Diagnostic audiologic testing for adults and pediatrics Vestibular testing (VNG) Electrophysiologic testing, including ABR and ECochG Hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up services Evaluation and management of a wide variety of hearing and balance disorders Exposure to a broad range of ear-related pathology A unique aspect of our externship is our close collaboration with ENT physicians . This provides externs with valuable exposure to otologic conditions and ear pathology, as well as the opportunity to better understand the relationship between audiology and otolaryngology in patient care. Externs will receive close supervision and mentorship from Doctors of Audiology with ASHA certification while gaining experience in a supportive, professional, and fast-paced clinical environment.
