Now hiring for an Order Entry Representative in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Pay rate: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour. Schedule: 1st Shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of relevant experience involving aerospace processes and specifications
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy, heat treating, and related subjects
• Knowledge of—or ability to quickly learn—industry, customer, and metallurgical standards
• Basic mathematical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications
• ERP system experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Professional phone and email communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions, workplace rules, and established procedures
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and work effectively with others
• Ability to report to work on time and maintain dependable attendance
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to meet ITAR compliance requirements
• Ability to sit and perform computer-based work for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to perform data-entry duties
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach as needed
• Visual acuity to read documents, files, and computer screens
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
• Ability to work in an office or industrial environment that may include heat, fumes, noise, or humidity

Job Duties

• Review industry standards, customer specifications, purchase orders, and related documentation
• Create complete and accurate shop travelers
• Submit planning documents for department review
• Communicate with customers to clarify purchase-order discrepancies
• Work with internal departments to resolve specification and documentation questions
• Enter and maintain information in company databases and ERP systems
• Protect customer inventory from loss or damage
• Handle customer materials safely and responsibly
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide administrative support as needed
• Report unusual problems or irregularities to the supervisor
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Promote workplace safety and good housekeeping
• Follow all company rules, procedures, and quality standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
