Established (30+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Civil Defense Litigation in Boston, MAAn established firm based in Boston with over 30 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This Attorney will have experience with construction defect, general liability, and product liability litigation, managing cases from inception through resolution and representing clients in complex civil matters throughout Boston, MA and Providence, RI.Offer:Salary range: $130,000-$200,000+, contingent on experienceMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceDisability insurance401k retirement planPaid time off and firm holidaysQualifications:3+ years of experience in construction defect, general liability, product liability, or related civil defense litigationExperience handling all phases of litigation including motion practice, discovery, and depositionsJuris Doctor from an accredited law schoolAdmission to practice law and in good standingStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and communication skillsResponsibilities:Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolutionConduct and defend depositionsPrepare witnesses for depositions and trialReview and analyze discovery requests and responsesDraft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and other litigation filingsTake lead roles in plaintiff and expert witness depositionsAssist with trial preparation and trial supportCollaborate with partners, clients, and team members to develop case strategyMaintain accurate and timely billing and time records
