Overview Senior Nuclear Engineer – Advanced Reactors Location: Austin, TX Company Overview A fast-growing startup is developing next-generation small nuclear reactors with a focus on rapid hardware iteration and real-world deployment. Responsibilities The Senior Nuclear Engineer will support reactor modeling, neutronics simulations, and thermal-hydraulics analysis for advanced reactor systems. The engineer will provide technical insight that directly informs design decisions, operational strategies, and regulatory submissions. Qualifications Background in nuclear engineering, reactor physics, or closely related fields. Experience with reactor modeling and system-level analysis. Familiarity with tools such as MCNP, SCALE, or similar is a plus. Analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.
