JOB DESCRIPTION

The Center for Academic Support (CAS) at Colorado Mesa University is seeking motivated, knowledgeable, and student-centered Peer Tutors to support the academic success of fellow Mavericks. Peer Tutors provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in designated subject areas while fostering confidence, critical thinking, and independent learning. This position is ideal for students who enjoy helping others, possess strong communication skills, and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Peer Tutors serve as ambassadors for academic excellence by encouraging effective study strategies, reinforcing course concepts, and empowering students to achieve their educational goals.
