Accountant

Accountant (AP/AR Focus) Location: Williamsport, IN Pay: $40,000/year+, based on experience Schedule: Full-time, onsite Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Williamsport, IN to find a motivated Accountant to join their administrative team. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to grow, learn the business, and make a real impact. This role blends both bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build on their accounting foundation. What You’ll Do Process and verify vendor invoices, prepare payments, and reconcile statements (AP) Generate customer invoices, post payments, and manage outstanding balances (AR) Maintain accurate financial records across AP, AR, and general ledger Assist with journal entries, financial reporting, and account reconciliations Support job costing, data analysis, and internal reporting Respond to vendor and customer inquiries Help improve processes and maintain organized documentation What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) High attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Open to entry-level candidates with a solid accounting foundation What’s Offered Starting salary of $40,000+ based on experience Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Opportunities for growth, cross-training, and advancement This is an onsite position—candidates must be able to work in Williamsport, IN daily.
