Description:
Med-surg overflow unit, post-surgical, and observation care.
Patient ratio of 1:6/7, transitioning to team nursing.
Patients include adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 42.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Equivalent patient care experience required, including telemetry and IV start skills.
Weekend and on-call requirements as needed.
Must be willing to work holidays as needed.
No local candidates accepted; must live 100 miles away.
All requested time off must be included at the time of submission and will not be honored after an offer is made.
Travelers must adhere to strict facility compliance requirements.
Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
Floating between like units may occur.
