Subcontract Administrator

:*** is seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator III to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in support of New Product Integration. In this contract role, you will own the full procurement lifecycle—from sourcing through delivery—while partnering closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure materials, components, and services are delivered on time and to specification .This is a hands‑on purchasing role requiring strong follow‑up, tracking discipline, and aerospace industry expertise Responsibilitie Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities, including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing out purchase orders and subcontract Support New Product Integration (NPI) within SCM, ensuring new components and suppliers are successfully introduced into the supply bas Execute purchasing activities for hardware, components, materials, and services in support of program need Proactively follow up and track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules to mitigate risk and prevent shortage Serve as an embedded member of cross‑functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), representing SCM and driving procurement strategy aligned to program objective Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, managing performance, escalations, and corrective actions as neede Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and delivery to achieve best value while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedure Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting throughout the procurement lifecycl Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement proces ns:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experienc .5+ years of progressive experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasi ng.Aerospace industry experience is requir ed.Demonstrated experience managing cradle-to-grave procureme nt.Proven ability to follow up, track, and drive supplier deliverables to closu re.Experience working within cross‑functional teams (IPT environmen t).Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skil ls.Ability to work onsite in Kent, WA or Flori Preferred Qualificati ons:Experience supporting New Product Integration (NPI) or new product introduction within an SCM organizat ion.Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Costpoi nt).Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and aerospace supplier quality requireme nts.Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with reporting/tracking to ols.Prior experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth aerospace or manufacturing environ #J-18808-Ljbffr
