Production Technician

Position Overview Production Technician position at DuPont’s Stow site, working the 2nd or 3rd shift in a light manufacturing facility. The role involves handling liquid resins, operating presses, ovens, and performing assembly operations. Compensation and Benefits Shift Pay : Starting wage $23.83 per hour. 2nd or 3rd shift premium $2.50 per hour from 3:00 pm to 7:00 am. Shift Schedules : 2nd shift 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.; 3rd shift 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Bonus : $1,000 bonus after 90 days of employment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Ensure quality and conformance with standard operating procedures and equipment instructions. Operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment. Visually inspect final products for defects and adherence to specifications, using micrometers, calipers, automated gauges, and templates. Complete in‑house training to obtain visual and dimensional inspection stamps. Adhere to safety, quality, and ethical standards (AS9100D). Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and wear a respirator as required. Willingness and ability to work overtime and adjust hours as needed. Preferred: Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, line or manufacturing leadership, leadership experience in related field.
