Work Environment

The position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and rehabilitation tools. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing tailored treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Administer evidence-based treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of rehabilitation equipment, according to best practices in physical therapy.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, with a preference for WebPT, to ensure accurate communication of outcomes and adjustments in therapy plans.
• Set measurable and achievable goals with each patient to track progress and motivate them during their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, pain management strategies, and preventive measures to sustain their recovery post-therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele includes athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation from mobility restriction. Your role will emphasize patient education and empowerment, fostering an environment where patients are motivated to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Virginia Physical Therapist license is required for practice.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning skills and a thorough understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation concepts.
• A commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, especially in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

• Previous use of EMR systems such as WebPT is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
