General Manager — Roofing & Construction

Radiant Roofing | Bedford Heights, OH

Base Salary: $75,000–$95,000 + Performance Incentives to $250,000+

\n

Radiant Roofing is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Bedford Heights branch.

\n

We’re not looking for someone to simply manage a schedule or put out fires. We’re looking for a leader who can help build and run the business.

\n

We have big goals ahead — including a target of $12M+ in revenue next year — and a major part of that growth will come from building, developing, and leading a high-performing sales team.

\n

The ideal candidate has real roofing experience , understands the storm restoration and insurance side of the business, and has experience leading a sales team. Experience in middle management within a construction company is a major plus.

What You'll Own

\n

\n

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the branch and will work closely with ownership to execute our growth plan.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n

\n

\n
• Running the day-to-day operations of the branch
\n
• Leading, managing, and developing our sales team
\n
• Recruiting and onboarding new salespeople
\n
• Establishing clear goals, expectations, and accountability
\n
• Holding weekly sales and performance meetings
\n
• Coaching salespeople to improve their production and close rates
\n
• Helping build and refine our sales processes and systems
\n
• Managing production and operational performance
\n
• Making sure jobs move efficiently from signed contract through completion
\n
• Helping resolve customer, insurance, and production issues
\n
• Monitoring KPIs and using data to identify problems and opportunities
\n
• Maintaining a strong company culture and high standards
\n
• Working with ownership on strategic growth initiatives
\n
• Helping scale the company from where we are today toward $12M+ in annual revenue
\n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n

Roofing experience is a must.

\n

\n

We want someone who understands the business from the inside — the customers, the sales process, production, insurance claims, contractors, and the realities of running a roofing operation.

\n

\n

Our ideal candidate will also have:

• Experience managing a small-to-mid-sized sales team
\n
• Proven leadership and people-management experience
\n
• Experience in roofing, storm restoration, or exterior construction
\n
• Construction management or middle-management experience
\n
• Strong communication and organizational skills
\n
• The ability to hold people accountable while still earning their respect
\n
• A track record of building and developing people
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills
\n
• Comfort working with numbers, KPIs, and performance metrics
\n
• A high level of integrity and personal accountability
\n
• The ability to make decisions and take ownership without needing to be micromanaged
\n

Compensation

\n

\n

$75,000–$95,000 base salary, plus strong commission upside based on revenue, and depending on experience. Opportunity to make 200,000 - 250,000 in a successful year.

\n

\n

Additional performance-based compensation/incentives will be available based on branch and company performance.

\n

\n
