Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager specializing in residential new construction in the Maryland and Virginia area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and sales, a proven track record of business growth, and a deep understanding of the residential construction market. This role requires exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to drive new business opportunities and maintain long-term partnerships. What You'll Do Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities within the residential construction industry. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed targets. Create customized sales presentations, proposals, and bids to win new business. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups to close deals and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Create and maintain a strong social media presence. Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and potential customers. Build and refine sales strategies based on competitive analysis and customer insights. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships to drive repeat business and referrals. Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service and proactive communication. Actively seek and respond to customer feedback to improve offerings and service delivery. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with project management and operations to ensure seamless project delivery. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: Proven experience in construction sales, home sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong understanding of the residential construction market in DMV area. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies. Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required). This is an in-person position. Candidates must live in the DMV area. Compensation Base Salary plus commissions & bonus.

• 0 to $10M Sales 2.5%
• 10M to $20M Sales 3%

Over $20M Sales 3.5% You will be compensated at the construction progress milestones.
