Job Description

• Operate CNC machines to perform precision and progressive machining tasks in support of fabrication lines.
• Set up CNC machines for production, including selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and raw materials.
• Position and secure workpieces in fixtures according to setup instructions and job requirements.
• Read and interpret CNC programs, technical drawings, blueprints, operational layouts, engineering diagrams, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine required dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations.
• Use mathematical skills and precision instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerances and ensure parts meet design requirements.
• 1st shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm for training. Then will become 4 on, 4 off, 12 hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years experience operating CNC machines, preferably Haas or Brother 4- or 5-axis equipment.
• Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and operate CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret CNC programs, blueprints, operational layouts, and engineering diagrams.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camden, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $22.76 - $24.76/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Camden,NJ.
