Assist with program arrangements as needed. Responsibilities Prepare for in-person classes and ensure the classroom is ready for students. Teach basic reading, writing, and conversation skills, depending on class level. Monitor student attendance and follow up on absences. Prepare classwork, homework, and tests. Administer final examinations and prepare required documentation for the end-of-year program. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications Minimum two years of college education; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior experience teaching adults. Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred. Attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Support and understand The Salvation Army’s mission as a church and social services organization. Patient, compassionate, and understanding demeanor. Proficient in computer skills.
