Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 10-hour shifts: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday - Friday (one random day off, NOT blocked)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to join our surgical services team, offering a full spectrum of procedures across various specialties. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring safe and effective surgical procedures, contributing to enhanced patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in OR procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical processes.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Maintain strict adherence to attendance policy and other operational protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room is required.
• Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endo-Vascular, Urgent Care, and OB preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license is required; provide verification from LARA and Nursys.
• BLS certification required.
