SR Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist Respiratory Primary Care, Pasadena CA

AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the Respiratory and Immunology Primary Care team in Pasadena, CA. The role involves educating healthcare professionals on respiratory and inflammatory disease treatments, driving territory sales performance, and executing strategic sales plans.
Responsibilities
- Build product and disease state knowledge to educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence and efficacy/safety profiles
- Drive independent sales performance to meet or exceed territorial budgets and forecasts
- Develop local market strategy with management and implement targeted promotional plans
- Complete required training and product examinations
- Coordinate selling efforts with other sales specialists on shared objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
- Knowledge of medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry preferred
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to learn and convey complex clinical information
- Results-oriented with demonstrated time management capability
Compensation: $74,700-$140,700 base salary, plus short-term incentive bonus and long-term equity participation
