Position Overview
Inspire Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Electrophysiologist for an ongoing locums assignment in Flagstaff, AZ beginning May 2026. This role includes a mix of ablations, electrophysiology procedures, and inpatient cardiology consults within a hospital-based cath lab and EP program.
5 days per week
10-hour shifts (daytime coverage)
Monday through Friday
Ongoing assignment starting May 2026
No overnight call specified (may vary by site needs) Clinical Setting:
Hospital-based electrophysiology and cardiology service line
Active cath lab with EP procedural capability
Adult patient population
Case mix includes inpatient and procedural care Team structure:
Interventional cardiology and EP physicians
Cath lab staff and anesthesia support
Inpatient cardiology consult team Responsibilities:
Perform left-sided cardiac ablations and electrophysiology procedures
Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) as required
Provide inpatient and cath lab EP consults
Manage standard electrophysiology cases and arrhythmia evaluations
Interpret diagnostic studies and guide treatment planning
Collaborate with cardiology, hospitalists, and cath lab teams Scope of Practice:
Full-scope electrophysiology practice
Complex and bread-and-butter EP cases
Procedural and consultative responsibilities Requirements:
Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology (or Cardiology with EP training)
Active Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
Significant experience with left-sided ablations required
TEE proficiency required
Prior cath lab and inpatient consult experience required Why This Opportunity?
