This position involves developing project design criteria and creating comprehensive design packages that guide the construction and operation of substations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales and project management, to address potential challenges and provide innovative solutions. With a strong emphasis on adhering to industry standards and best practices, the Substation Engineer is instrumental in delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance. What You Bring (requirements) Confirmed Experience:2-5 years in engineering roles within AIS/GIS Substations EPC. Technical Proficiency:Understanding of high voltage AIS/GIS equipment and electrical engineering principles. Project Engineering Skills:Proficient in engineering design, analysis, and implementation, including the ability to develop and review technical documentation and specifications. Design & Analysis:Ability to create and evaluate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Problem Solving:Analytical skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges effectively. Collaboration & Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. EHS Compliance:Experience ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance in engineering practices. Education & Certification:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and relevant certifications, with hands-on experience in HV-Substation design and construction. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
