Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room | Travel | Peds ER - Trauma Level 1

Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic team in a Peds ER setting at a Trauma Level 1 facility. Ideal candidates will bring strong critical care skills to a high-acuity environment and enjoy working with a diverse patient population from newborns to the elderly. This role requires RN expertise in emergency and acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency room
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
• Interpret and respond to patient data, monitor vital signs, and assess patient needs
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Assist with the stabilization and care of level 1/2 trauma patients

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• TNCC certification preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably including prior travel assignments
• Ability to care for a wide variety of critically ill patients

Preferred:

• SANE RN experience
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment
