Warehouse Manager - Second Shift

Warehouse Manager

A wholesale distribution center is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a second shift position working Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Job Duties:

Lead the process for accurate receiving and shipping activity in the warehouse
Operate warehouse equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, tow motors, cherry pickers, etc. when needed
Perform all pre-operation inspections to ensure that the machinery is in working-order and fill out the inspection log
Make sure all trucks are loaded on time and damage free
Train team in the areas of safety, compliance, working effectively, and other areas
Supervise a shift of 8 to 10 associates to ensure that direct reports are adhering to safety and operational processes
Establish team goals and work with each Associate to achieve and exceed their performance goals
Ensure that facilities are clean and safe by thoroughly inspecting all areas, promote teamwork, and foster the culture of the company
Perform other duties as required
