Seasonal Office AssistantTo support company operations by maintaining office systems, supporting staff and specializing in customer service in a way that will optimize the cooperative's market share and savings, improve the cooperative's efficiency, help achieve the cooperative's mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service.This is a seasonal position.RequirementsAnswer phone and direct callsProvide counter sales and customer servicePerform truck scale, grain probing, and grading proceduresParticipate with office team to organize and implement daily processes to provide products and services to our customersOrganize company transfersVarious office duties including but not limited to entering inventory data, product inventory count sheets and reconciling cashReportingInform your supervisor of potential problems or potential new business opportunities directly or indirectly related to your departmentReport any unsafe equipment or working conditions to your supervisorReport any needed repairs or special maintenance to your supervisor immediatelySafety and ComplianceUphold all cooperative policiesFollow and comply with all laws and regulations both State and FederalAttend employee safety meetings, etc. held as required or scheduled in conjunction with Safety Director or locationOther DutiesPerform other duties as assigned by managementReceive favorable feedback from all department managers when assigned to perform or assist with other duties and responsibilities in those departmentsAttitude consistently mirrors the company image and promotes fellow employee teamworkPresent a professional image through words, actions, and personal appearanceBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentTen-key speed and accuracy requiredProficient with Microsoft Office and Excel softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple projects at a time and demonstrate good attention to detailDetail oriented to provide accurate and consistent work with or without directionKnowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as general office machines and phone systemAbility to work long seasonal hoursPhysical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
