Job Details Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients. Interpret doctors’ written instructions. Appropriately position patients for scans. Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images. Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality. Follow safety procedures when working with radiation. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist. BLS certification. ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography. State‑specific licensing when required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Job ID #1454451.
