REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

License Requirements: NJ Radiologic Technologist License Required

Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & CLINICAL SKILLS

Years of Experience Required: 2 years

Settings: Interventional Radiology; Pediatric IR; Hybrid OR; Special Procedures Cardiac/Advanced: Diagnostic catheterizations (adult/pediatric/neonatal); hemodynamic monitoring; cardiac stent placement; Impella insertion; scrub procedures

Procedural/Equipment: Fluoroscopy; 3D imaging; equipment setup; prep access site; scrub maintain sterile field; PACS; maintain equipment and inventory; stock supplies; isolation precautions/PPE; use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Angio/Endovascular: Visceral and vascular angiography (adrenal, mesenteric, pelvic, renal, pulmonary, selective visceral, aortography, inferior/superior vena cavagram, percutaneous hepatic angiography); angioplasty; stent and endograft placement; embolization (including radioembolization and chemoembolization); thrombolysis/thrombectomy; IVC filter placement and removal; venous and central access (including ports, PICC, and line care/maintenance)

IR Procedures: Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of the liver; liver biopsy; paracentesis; thoracentesis; chest tube and gastrostomy tube placement; esophageal stent placement; ERCP; cholecystostomy; catheter/drain exchange; cystoscopy

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

Charting: Epic required

Weekend Requirement: Refer to On Call Requirement

On Call Requirement: Yes; Call every 3rd weekend

RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Priority given to submits with a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests. No requests will be approved after offer

Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Holiday Requirement: Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, per unit needs

Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

Locals Accepted: Yes, Locals accepted at the same rate

UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

Unit Details: Department Patient Population: Infants, Pediatrics; Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Scrubs: Hospital provided (green/teal)

Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception.
