The Consumer Team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our team. This vertical focuses on several key areas: Branded Consumer Products and E-Commerce, including both upstream and downstream transactions. This position is based out of our New York, NY or Chicago, IL office. Responsibilities: Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management Performs financial analysis and modeling Conducts industry research and business due diligence Participates in marketing efforts Develops client presentation materials Qualifications: Three or more years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking Bachelor’s Degree required (majoring in Business, Finance or Accounting) Sell side M&A experience preferred Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling Proven track record of strong transaction execution including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other materials Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic and organization skills Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines Work Requirements: BGL is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
