Salary: $18.00 - 20.00

Fredericksburg Christian Health Center is seeking an energetic, bilingual Medical Receptionist with excellent communication skills and strong computer proficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well both independently and under pressure, and be passionate about providing compassionate, Christ-centered care to our community. Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Must have a minimum 2 years of medical office experience

Job Type: Full Time - Monday to Friday

Medical Specialty: Primary Care, Behavioral Health

Responsibilities include the following:

• check patients in/out
• give new patients forms and application
• scan insurance cards and update if necessary
• collect payments
• answer phones
• assist patients at the window for pickup of items or questions
• make follow-up appointments
• process patient payments and maintain cash drawer
• receive indigent applications
• reconcile end of the day financials and print reports
• scan documents into charts
• update & maintain application forms and protocols
• adding supplies and funds to postage machine
• liaison between patients and billing department
• process incoming faxes
• check insurance eligibility before appointments are made
• maintain and update scheduling protocols for all providers
• manage clinic appointment schedule
• other duties assigned by Practice Manager or providers

Experience:

• At least (2) years of customer service experience
• Requirements:

• Must come ready to learn and work
• Must seek to model in attitude, speech, and actions a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ
