Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSun08:00 AM - 04:40 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to guests, crew members, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established cruise operations protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned vessel areas, access points, gangways, and perimeter locations, as applicable. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions. Document incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Experience with X‑ray screening is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
