CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

CNC Operator IICadrex is searching for a CNC Operator II to operate both manual and CNC machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to medium sized components as either as a finished product or as part of another larger product to be assembled.Key ResponsibilitiesOperates CNC machines to produce production parts and assembliesOperates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathesPositions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devicesOperates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic toolsOperates lift equipment as neededUses precision measuring tools as requiredAbility to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if neededAbility to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as requiredVerifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspectsReports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department LeadMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsCompletes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheetsProficiently set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials. Verify machine settings and program parameters for accuracyPreferred QualificationsProven experience as a CNC Operator with at least 2-3 years of experience in CNC machining operationsProficient in machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.
