Civil Engineering Professional

Overview Locations: Atlanta, GA | Birmingham, AL | Charlotte, NC | Dallas, TX | Lexington, KY | Remote Alpha Executive Search is partnering with a nationally recognized engineering and design firm to identify a Civil Engineer who will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of complex industrial and commercial development projects. This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging site development and infrastructure problems, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to projects from concept through construction. Whether you've recently earned your PE or have extensive project leadership experience, we're interested in speaking with civil engineers who have strong site design expertise and advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D capabilities. What You'll Do Lead and support civil design efforts for industrial and commercial projects Develop site improvement plans, grading plans, utility layouts, drainage systems, and infrastructure designs Prepare construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports Analyze site conditions including topography, utilities, drainage, zoning, environmental constraints, and constructability Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary engineering teams Conduct site visits and field observations to support design accuracy and project execution Review designs for compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and permitting requirements Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers Support projects throughout planning, design, permitting, construction, and closeout phases What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred Active Professional Engineering (PE) License REQUIRED Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D experience REQUIRED Experience with civil site design, land development, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure Experience preparing site plans, profiles, construction drawings, and engineering documentation Knowledge of civil engineering standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory compliance Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders Preferred Experience Industrial manufacturing, food & beverage, data center, distribution, life sciences, or advanced technology project experience Experience with stormwater modeling and drainage analysis Experience in calculating earthwork quantities and developing roadway and utility profiles Experience leading project coordination efforts across multiple disciplines Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and other civil engineering design software Interest in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Please note: Candidates must possess an active Professional Engineering (PE) License and hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D site design experience to be considered for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alpha Executive Search
