Travel Physical Therapist - $2,202 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The position requires 40 hours per week, 9‑hour day shifts, and involves the evaluation, development, and execution of patient care plans in the acute care setting. Responsibilities Evaluate and create a plan of care for a variety of patient populations. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board rules and regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged. BLS certification. State-specific licensing. Comfortable standing and walking for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
