Senior Electrical Estimator

Supporting the delivery of a major semiconductor manufacturing facility, the full-time Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing and presenting electrical cost estimates, managing vendor prequalifications, and evaluating contractor tenders in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Advise clients on strategies, manage vendor prequalification, and assess proposals and bids Independently evaluate contractor tenders and prepare commercial recommendations Review and negotiate change orders and compensation events, ensuring alignment with industry standards Required qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or estimating within the construction industry Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management for medium to large projects RICS accreditation or progress towards it is valuable Experience in construction consultancy is strongly preferred Familiarity with technical matters in the construction industry, such as procurement routes and value engineering
