Details Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active California RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor required Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty, with experience within the last 3 months Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healing environment Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members All required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered Holiday RTO will not be approved Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered No radius restriction applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers American Traveler Job ID P-748607.
