Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Procedures: Apply evidence-based interventions to boost patient motor skills, cognition, and daily activities
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough, holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Share knowledge with patients and their families about therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing progress at home
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, guaranteeing patients remain on the right path
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Continuing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
