Sr Marketing Manager, Breast Biopsy

Position Overview: Hologic is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Downstream Marketing to lead and drive the strategic and operational marketing efforts for the Breast Biopsy portfolio. This individual will be responsible for balancing high-level strategic objectives with hands-on execution of critical marketing programs, while also fostering the development and engagement of a high-performing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of leadership in the medical device industry, particularly in downstream marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Leadership:Develop and implement comprehensive downstream marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance customer engagement in alignment with divisional and organizational goals.Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and product performance to identify opportunities and risks.Collaborate closely with upstream marketing, sales, and R&D teams to ensure alignment across product lifecycle strategies. Program Execution:Lead the execution of marketing initiatives, including product launches, promotional campaigns, sales enablement tools, and customer education programs.Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact.Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., regulatory, clinical, operations) to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans. Team Development and Engagement:Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing downstream marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to elevate team capabilities and career growth.Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and organization. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:Build strong relationships with key customers, thought leaders, and stakeholders to ensure Hologic remains a trusted partner in breast surgery solutions.Represent the division at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to gather insights and strengthen brand presence. Operational Excellence:Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure marketing programs are delivered on time and within scope.Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize marketing strategies and align with organizational objectives. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in marketing or sales within the medical device industryStrong track record of success in product launches, customer engagement, and market growth strategiesDemonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentDeep understanding of the medical device market, particularly in women's health or surgical solutions, is strongly preferredExceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levelsOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasivelyExperience managing resources and timelines to deliver impactful resultsAbility to travel as necessary for occasional business-specific meetings or events Preferred Skills/Experiences:Knowledge of breast screening procedures, technologies, and customer needsFamiliarity with regulatory and clinical considerations in the medical device industrySo why join Hologic?We are committed to making Hologic the company where top talent comes to grow.
