Senior Accountant

Location: Hayward, CA (100% Onsite) Schedule: Day Shift | Flexible start times: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 / year (DOE) Why Join CHC? Role Overview As our Senior Accountant, you will serve as the day-to-day lead for our accounting operations and a key resource for the Controller and CFO. You will oversee general ledger reconciliations, daily cash reporting, inventory, sales tax compliance, and multi-state payroll support. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger account reconciliations (cash, prepaids, leases, accrued expenses, inventory, and deferred revenue). Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain cash flow reporting. Coordinate state and city business licenses, property tax, and sales tax filings (Avalara). Provide analytical support during monthly financial statement reviews and assist external auditors. Support multi-state bi-weekly payroll journal entries and serve as backup coverage for payroll processing. What We're Looking For Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience. Software: Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly preferred) and multi-state payroll platforms (ADP Workforce Now). Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs). Industry Skills: Cost accounting or manufacturing/construction experience is a plus. CHC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
