Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled carpenter with exceptional problem-solving abilities to join a fast-paced modular building manufacturer. This role is ideal for a master craftsperson who thrives under tight production timelines, can diagnose and solve construction challenges, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work that meets demanding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced framing, finish carpentry, installation, and assembly within a modular manufacturing environment.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
Troubleshoot design, fit, finish, and production issues in real time.
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and field teams.
Maintain productivity while meeting aggressive production schedules.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code requirements.
Mentor junior carpenters and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of professional carpentry experience.
Demonstrated expertise in framing, finish carpentry, layout, and installation.
Strong blueprint-reading and measurement skills.
Proven ability to solve complex construction and manufacturing challenges.
Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
A team-player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Modular, manufactured housing, commercial construction, millwork, cabinetmaking, or advanced woodworking experience.
Leadership or crew lead experience.
OSHA training or relevant certifications.
