Job Description Essential Functions of Job: Supervisory Capacity: Direct Reports: 11-15 Develop, lead and maintain training initiatives through mentoring and coaching of best practices; Successfully manage all resource demandsensuring proper allocation with capable, skilled individuals. Responsible to ensure plant qualitystandards are adequate in controlling incoming material, standardized manufacturing processes, andquality. Lead efforts in optimizing Operational qualityperformance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and associated scorecard metrics with a sense of passion and drive for results. Establish and maintain exceptional customer facing relationships, resulting inexcellentcustomer satisfaction and loyalty. Evaluate, approve and/or provide expertise for problemsolving (e.g.,root causeandrobust permanent corrective actions), internal/external audit preparation,etc. Additional Responsibilities: Responsible for disposition of non-conforming materials. Administers Quality metric reviews for plant management. Drives Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) initiatives. Review/approve new process changes. Perform other duties as required/assigned. Required Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Quality, Engineering, Technical or other related business degree Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions. Required Qualifications: 5-9 Years of experience inquality management and customer interaction. 5-9 Years of Experience within the automotive industry. Travel may be required to manufacturing plants or customer locations which mayrequire lifting or working in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications: Green Belt or Black Belt training/certification preferred. Working knowledge of external quality standards (e.g., VDA, IATF, ISO, customer) and requirements. Advanced knowledge/training in core Quality Tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan, etc.) and problem-solving methodologies. Physical Ability Requirements: Stationary Position (Sitting or Standing): Occasionally Movement (Walking):Frequently Carry Weight (Lifting up to 25 lbs): Occasionally Communication(Seeing/Talking/Hearing): Constantly Use Hands/Fingers (Operate computer, printer, phone):Frequently Language Required and Preferred: Required:English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking) Preferred:None Work is indoor in a manufacturing setting that may not be temperature controlled. May frequent manufacturing plants and must follow all rules while visiting locations. Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions. Personal protective equipment is required. EHS Requirements: People Leaders/Managers and above and EHS Professionals must be certified on EHS ManagementSystems (e.g. EMS, OHSMS) Quality Requirements: People Leaders/Managers and above, Quality Professionals and Quality personnel (eg.
