2027 Intern - EHS&S
Catalent
Summer 2027 internship supporting environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives at a biologics manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The intern will assist with compliance inspections, audits, risk assessments, and data analysis while gaining hands-on experience in a regulated GMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Support EHS&S programs through inspections, audits, field observations, and environmental compliance activities
- Collect, analyze, and report safety, environmental, and sustainability metrics for continuous improvement
- Assist with risk assessments, hazard analyses, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation
- Develop and maintain EHS&S documentation, training materials, and audit-ready records per GMP requirements
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects, emergency preparedness activities, and workplace safety standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in relevant field
- Degree pursuit in EHS, occupational safety, environmental science, or related discipline
- Eligible to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 12-week summer period in the United States
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to read technical documents and follow written procedures and safety requirements
- Capacity to handle confidential and compliance-sensitive information appropriately
